Terms

These terms cover buying and using Got Motion and Got Motiv, two desktop apps sold by GotMotiv. They're written to be read. If anything here is unclear, email joel@gotmotiv.com.

Who we are

Got Motion and Got Motiv are made and sold by GotMotiv (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at joel@gotmotiv.com.

Early access

Both apps are in early access. Nothing is sold through this website yet, and the prices shown are planned launch prices. Features can change before launch, and early-access builds can have bugs.

What you buy

When you buy an app, you get a licence to use it, not ownership of the software. Each purchase is one-time and includes a year of updates. The version you have keeps working after that year; an optional Updates Pass keeps new versions coming.

What each app and tier includes (for example Got Motiv's workspaces and its Pro features) is described on its page at the time you buy.

Using your licence

Use the app on your own computers, up to the number of seats your purchase includes, for your own work or your business. Please don't share, resell or publish your licence key, or try to get around the licence check.

Services you connect

The apps work with services you choose and pay for separately: the AI you connect (through the Claude Code or Codex CLI you use, or your own keys), and services such as ScrapeCreators, Zernio, OpenRouter, fal and Higgsfield. Their terms, prices and limits apply to your use of them, and you pay them directly.

You're responsible for what you send to those services and what you publish through them. The apps show the price before a paid request, but your provider's bill is the final word.

Your content

What you record, write, make and save is yours, and it's stored on your computer, not by us. Make sure you have the right to use what you import or publish, including other people's posts you study in Got Motiv.

Refunds

See our refund policy.

Warranties and liability

We work hard to make the apps reliable, but they're provided as they are, and we can't promise they'll be free of errors or suit every purpose.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded, including the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the app, and we're not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data.

Changes

We may update the apps and these terms. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update this page and the date at the top.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia.
