Got Motion and Got Motiv run on your computer. Your recordings, projects, workspaces and research stay there, and the apps don't send us your content or how you use them.

When you use a service you've connected (an AI provider, ScrapeCreators, Zernio, fal or Higgsfield), the app sends that service what's needed for your request. That service's privacy policy covers it, not ours.

Licence keys are checked on your computer. When the apps check for updates, they ask our update server for the latest version; that request doesn't include your content.

If you email us, we keep your email address and message so we can reply, and so we can tell you when the app you asked about is ready.

Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us; we see your name, email address, what you bought and whether the payment went through.

We keep a licence record (your email address, the products you bought, your licence key and the Stripe reference) so we can send your key, help you recover it, and honour your updates. We send your key by email through an email delivery service.

This site doesn't use analytics or advertising cookies. It remembers your light or dark choice in your browser. Our website host keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and browser type, to run and protect the site.

Only the services that help us run the business: Stripe for payments, our email provider for sending keys, our database provider for licence records, and our website host. We don't sell your information.

Licence records for as long as your licence is in use, and as long as tax and accounting rules require. Early-access emails until you ask us to delete them.

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing joel@gotmotiv.com. If you're not happy with how we handled a request, tell us; you can also contact your local privacy regulator (in Australia, the OAIC).

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
